Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

This verse gave me so much comfort as I read it today. Let Him comfort you with His love. Let Him sing over your life.

1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

We make plans. But God establishes our steps. He has you in His hands.

Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Talk to Him. Tell Him what you’re feeling. Thank Him for His goodness. Be open about your struggles. Let His peace settle into your heart.

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Trying to figure everything out yourself will only lead to pain and disappointment. Let Him set the pace instead of you proudly trying to run the parade.

Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

Ahh, let that sink in. He IS working all things for good. He IS working all things for good. It may not feel like it. But it’s true. He is working all things for good.

Philippians 1:6 "Be confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

He isn’t done with you. He’s working in you. You are called. You are chosen. You are lovely. Have confidence that He’s moving you.

Psalm 121:7-8 “The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”

I was out on a trip in another country a couple of years ago, and my mom was back home worrying about me. She couldn’t sleep, and for some reason Psalm 121 was in her head. She opened it up and read this, and it instantly gave her peace. Let it do the same for you.

Deuteronomy 31:6 “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

There is nowhere you have wandered that God hasn’t already been. He has not forsaken you, and He never will. Take courage. Take heart! He doesn’t fail.

James 1:2-4 “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”

You will have troubles. But when you remember that these troubles lead to developed endurance and growth, you can have joy in knowing that God’s still moving in it.

Jeremiah 29:11 “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”

How refreshing it is to be reminded of this. The God of the Universe has a plan for you, and it is good. There are great things ahead.

Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

Sometimes I think we forget that we have to walk THROUGH the fire and rivers. It’s not always an easy route. In fact, most times it’s not. But He walks through each twist and turn right by our side.

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Let the God of peace bring you something the world cannot. Quiet yourself enough to feel that peace.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

In the loneliest, darkest, hardest moments, you are not alone. No matter where you run, you have a Father that never stops loving you. Choose courage, and trust in His faithfulness.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

You CAN get through this. God will give you His strength to do so.

Matthew 6:26-27 “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”

No matter what uncertainty is knocking at your door, you will get through it. You will get through it because He will show you how. Yes, times are uncertain. But our God is not.

Believe that with each breath you breathe today and every day.
